One lift capable of handling 3 different tasks: Passengers, Goods and Disabled Access

Our range of versatile multi-purpose lifts (traction or hydraulic) provide a single lift solution for transporting passengers or goods as well as being EN81-70 compliant for use by wheelchair users.

These lifts are custom made to suit your exact requirements with regards to:

  • The actual size of the lift

  • The required maximum load capacity.

  • Type of lift – hydraulic/ traction- standard

  • Lift door configuration to suit- front doors, 90 degrees (left or right), or exit straight out the back of the lift cabin.

  • Suitable for installations/ sites with restricted head room or pit depth.

  • Numerous choices of finish for lift car interiors- from an “interior designer” look (contemporary or traditional) or perhaps an industrial hard wearing option with chequer plate flooring and wall/ skirting bumper protection from pallets or cages.

  • Keypad access/ security options.

  • Automatic rescue whereby in the event of a power cut the lift automatically travels to the nearest level.

Lifts- Security and Restricting Access within a building:

There may be certain situations, in both commercial or private residential properties, where it might be desirable to restrict access to certain floors/ levels within a building from a lift. This level of security can be achieved by requiring a specific code to be entered in to a keypad in the lift cabin in order to let the lift travel to a particular floor- as illustrated in the following photo:

The top set of rectangular buttons is the keypad security system.

The circular buttons (numbers 3,2,1 and G) below the keypad are the floor level request buttons.

This type of security keypad installed within the lift cabin could be used in offices/ commercial buildings where it might be useful to control physical access to data storage facilities or commercially sensitive research and development labs or offices.

In a private residential property keypad access could be used to stop young children or people with severe dementia from being able to use the lift alone all by themselves.
